For nearly 30 years Winter Warmth has provided free food and fellowship for people in need in Weston-super-Mare. It is held at various Church Halls in the Town Centre every evening of the week during the five months of Greenwich Mean Time. Councillor Armstrong and the past Mayoress, Mrs Joan Dunne, presented a cheque for £1244.47 to the Winter Warmth Chairman, Salvation Army Major Gordon Fozzard.
