‘Prominent’ Weston-super-Mare building to be turned into ‘high-quality’ apartments?
Developers Studio Architecture have submitted an application to construct a third floor inside the former Co-operative bank building, in Alexandra Parade, and turn its upper floors into four 'high-quality' apartments. The ground floor would be set aside for retail or leisure use.
Dubious to state 'high quality' without adequate parking to encourage high quality purchasers. This is the mistake that Bristol made imaging that apartments without parking would sell at a premium. Are we destined to simply fill Weston Central Ward with yet more buy-to-let properties?
