Lib De campaigner for North Worle Alan Rice calls on council to hold meetings in public.

30 Sep 2017

Alan Rice addressed tonight's North Somerset Council meeting proposing councillors hold meetings in public to include residents in the decision making process on issues that affect them - predominately highways works.

The quarterly meetings would be held at various venues in Weston bringing the councillors to the residents, for instance in North Worle, giving the opportunity for residents to air their views.

This would stop decisions being made behind closed doors.

Alan awaits the council's reaction - he is not holding his breath !
