North Worle candidates
49a Madam Lane
Local residents Alan Rice and Lewis Treloar have been chosen as the Liberal Democrat candidates to be North Worle's next local councillors. There will be a by-election in our area on Thursday 31st August, following the sad death of Councillor Derek Mead.
Alan Rice is standing for North Somerset Council and lives locally. He is an active community campaigner, founding the local ACORN group to stand up for tenants and help people get on the housing ladder. He's been a councillor before, in West Sussex, and would be an experienced voice for North Worle.
Lewis Treloar is standing for Weston Town Council and, like many people in North Worle, commutes to work in Bristol every day. He's just about to start a family with his wife and is determined to stand up for the needs of the children and families who live in our area.
Alan Rice, Lewis Treloar and the Liberal Democrats are fighting for a fair deal for North Worle, getting action on potholes, transport and jobs. They will be a strong team for our community, fighting for local people at the Town Hall.
